Another hard working performance, 2-2 until second half when Chris took a nasty tackle, so Ash went in goals. Great game against a good passing team, and with Kiddo back, we created some good chances and goals, especially a well worked Will run on the right with a top headed finish from Ash for the second. With Ash back on form up front, we look like a team again. 8/10 Man Of The Match - Ash and Will. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5th Nov	Hornets	6-2	Wetherby	Hendo, Luca 2,Jamie, Will, Weeman
Fantastic by all, against another very good team. Three great inswinging corners from Hendo and Luca started us off, followed by a top pass from Hendo for Jamie to lob the keeper. Played with only one striker second half but still got two more. A hard fought run forwards from Will and a great dribble from Weeman for the last. A slightly below par performance than recent weeks, but we are confident enough now (at last) to carry these results off. Four goals from Jamie (with a trademark keeper lob) and a great goal from the edge of the box for Hendo made sure of the points. A much better performance against "we need anger management fc". Great start for Will with a nicely taken goal near the far post and a good all round effort from all. Two goals disallowed for us, meant we went in at 1-1. Second half we made a few slips but 2-1 would have been a fairer result. 6-1 how did that happen? Great game for Chris in the sticks. Another defeat to Guiseley, but a game when we didn't really play our best. A good start with some good passing football and we took the lead. After that though we were never in it. Guiseley pushed and got a goal and it got gradually worse from there. Not to be. 4/10. A close game that either team could have won, I felt we didn't have the luck on this one. A good bright start was followed by frustration, it just wasn't happening today. A better second half with a good move by Will, which saw Luca get a rare headed goal from the cross. We pressured them and pushed them near the end, but unfortunately time just ran out. A good solid full debut for Lacey, Will who seems to be on fire every game these days, and a sturdy backbone from Gillers, saw out a good year for the Hornets.
