News Well done everyone on Sunday, another good game against the Nomads. Big thanks to Sax and Lofty for helping out. Also well done Joe, at last!! And Sam.....one day it will all be yours. Football at last! We have an away game planned for this Sunday v Killinghall Nomads with a 10.30 am kick off. As we have a long summer season without football, I'll try and arrange some friendly games. Details to follow. A top performance against Killinghall, to end a very successful season in the 'A' league. Well done. Unfortunately we do have to play against Killinghall on Sunday. It's at home with a 10.30am kick off, and at the moment we don't have a ref. Any ideas gratefully received. Great performance today against Horsforth, unfortunately it wasn't to be. Sundays game is a reschedule of last weeks postponed Horsforth match. So same place and time as last week, St Marys school in Menston with a 10.30am kick off. Unfortunately todays game was called off due to snow etc. It'll be rescheduled shortly, details will follow. This Sunday we are at Horsforth with a 10.30am kick off. To find the ground click here. Normal 10.30 ko, get there for 10. This Sunday we are at home to Ilkley Juniors. Kick off is an unavoidable 12.30pm so get there for 12 please. The league has now rescheduled the remaining fixtures for the season. They are: As you may already know, todays game v Ilkley is now off due to a virus in the Ilkley camp. Hope you all had a decent Sunday off this week. The work starts again this weekend at home to Ilkley. It's a 10am kick off so get there for 9.30am ish please. Training as normal on Saturday. Well done over the weekend. Not a pretty game i'm told, but a win is a win. Apologies again for the site being down, but that's now resolved. Training this week as normal and there may be a game this Sunday, so keep checking back. This weekend we are playing. At home to Wigton Moor. It's a 10.30am kick off get there for 10am. As discussed i am away this weekend so no training, although doing it yourselves usually works! On Sunday John will be managing the game so can we all help out and support him. Also if someone will text me the result after the game that would be great. Let's get winning again! Apologies for the down time this week, there was a problem with the server. You showed what you were capable of v Deighton and in flashes yesterday, but we just couldn't keep it up to the end. A win we should have come away with, but alas it wasn't to be. Sundays game is v Otley Town away, weather permitting. It's a 10am kick off so get there for 9.30 ish. It's our last chance to get one over them, so if we can play like the Deighton game then we're laughing. For anyone who needs directions click here. Unfortunately and unavoidably, next weekend (3rd and 4th February) I will be away with work. At the moment we don't have a game planned as it's the Styan Cup Semis, but this may change. Our next game (hopefully) is this Sunday and it's away at Otley, same place as before. This is our last chance to beat them so lets do it! Details to follow. As happens quite a lot over winter, tomorrows game v Horsforth has been cancelled due to a waterlogged pitch. It will be rescheduled for later in the season. Thanks all for a great time on Saturday, it's never dull with you lot. We'll try to repeat it at some stage this season! Have decided to meet a bit later tomorrow, as a few people are struggling to get there due to other commitments. We are now meeting at 7pm at St Aidans. Unfortunately Sundays game V Killinghall is now off. There were two matches scheduled before us but they have both been cancelled due to the state of the pitch. Top game by all! One of our best performances ever. Keep it up! It's nice that we can worry the "big boys"! Good goal from Lacey, and top performances from all, especially, Ash, Kiddo and Chris. Hi all, hope you had a great Xmas and New Year, let the football commence! Our first game of the year is this Sunday (7th) v Kirk Deighton. It's an 11.30 am kick off so get there for 11am please. Due to some of you being on the east coast field trip there won't be any training this Saturday so straight into the game on Sunday. The planned night out is not this Saturday (6th) as discussed, due to availability of transport, and will be rescheduled for the 13th or 20th January.
